L’AMOUR AU SOLEIL
Dress code: Beach Casual Chic
Showcase your personality by rocking your warm-weather favourites to achieve an effortless yet refined wedding look.
Enjoy wearing light & airy outfits by prioritizing breathable fabrics – such as linen or cotton and opt for sunset light-catching sheer fabrics – such as silk & viscose blends.
Please avoid overly shiny polyester fabrics & prioritize polyester/viscose blends.
Create your outfit with solid colours, fun prints, stripes, polka dots.
Follow this shared warm & punchy tropical colour palette; allowing sun-kissed & “wet” shades’ effect.
No whites, nor very light creams & black colours, please.
Think sundresses, breezy maxi dresses, formal rompers or jumpsuits & co-ord sets. Loose shirts long or short-sleeved, polos, linen pants or chinos.
Introduce texture(s) with some fancy crochet, light knits, pleats, ruffles, wraps and folds detailing.
Have fun with lengths – roll up your sleeves &/or hems; & with volumes – blow up your balloon sleeves.
Showcase your wedding destination tan with open backs.
Throw some shades with your coolest sunglasses & sun hats – we will kindly ask you to remove them during the ceremony time to avoid blocking the view of other guests &/or for picture time.
Let’s embrace the sand-toes privilege, by wearing comfortable & removable dressy Havaianas, sandals or shoes. No heels please & no normal beachy flip-flops (if opting for shorts bottom & top)
Bring up the seaside lifestyle by accessorizing your look with meshed, braided details & small bags.
The final touch to your look: don’t forget to “wear sunscreen” for some SPF love.
Please don’t overdress, or underdress.
Our wedding is taking place in a beach club, so please make sure to leave formal suits, overly glittery outfits & heels at home. Yet, as it is still a wedding, please be mindful to leave bathing suits, swim shorts & beachy flip-flops (if your outfit is already too casual) for the other days of your stay on the island.
If you are still struggling; feel free to share your wardrobe selection with us to give you further guidance.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
